Dr. Laura Ryan is from the small East Texas town of Kilgore, and the small town feel of Allen reminds her of home. After graduating high school in Kilgore, Dr. Ryan went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Texas A&M University, and her Master of Arts degree in Teaching from the University of Texas at Tyler. She taught 7th grade science for 4 years while her husband was in dental school, and during that time she decided that she too would like to become a dentist. She received her dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. During dental school, Dr. Laura participated in many organizations and volunteer activities. She graduated as Salutatorian of her dental school class and was elected into both the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and the Odontological Honor Society.

Dr. Laura is dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate, and
comprehensive dental care to each patient. She enjoys getting to know her
patients and strives to make each one of them comfortable in the dental
chair. She is also a firm believer in patient education and preventive dentistry, and thus she enjoys teaching patients how to maintain good oral hygiene and prevent problems before they arise.

During her free time, Dr. Laura enjoys trying new recipes, reading medical
mysteries, and spending time outdoors with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 pups.
